If you want to cancel a course for the entire semester, click on the Edit Lecture menu item and select the course. First go to Application info > Edit participants to check whether all the participants have been admitted to the course. If that's not the case, manually set the reigstration status of all the participants to ZU. You can also admit a batch of students by using the "AN → ZU" button. This is necessary so that all of the students concerned will be automatically informed by Friedolin by email about the cancellation of the course.

Click on the Edit lecture button and go to the When/Where tab. If a room has been allocated to the course by the Central Room Management, you first need to withdraw the room request (see How can I withdraw a room request?).

After that, go back to the When/Where tab. The Date fields are not highlighted in grey anymore and can now be edited.

Type a ? into the it takes place input field and press Enter. Choose No from the list that is displayed and confirm by clicking on Save. The course information will be updated and both in the detailed view and the schedule of classes it will be noted that the course has been cancelled. If there are multiple sessions to the course that should all be cancelled, repeat the above steps for all the sessions.

The participants that have before been admitted to the course will automatically be informed by email about the cancellation and their registration status will be changed to CA (cancelled).

Please note: If you don't want all the sessions to be cancelled, it is not necessary to change the registration status of the participants.

If you want to cancel only one class, see How do I cancel a class of a course?.
