If possible, register for all courses subject to registration by the 1st automatic allocation of course places date (see Dates). It is only these applications for registration that can be considered during the 1st automatic allocation of course places. As long as you have submitted your application by the allocation date, the time of application is irrelevant. The University of Jena, hence, does not use a first come, first served policy.
As a general rule, it is possible to register for courses during the entire duration of the Friedolin semester. After the automatic allocation of course places, however, you can only be admitted to courses manually by the teachers assigned to them. In this case, please contact the teacher and ask them for manual admission.
