The registration deadline is the date by which students can register for courses that are subject to registration. The registration period begins with the Friedolin semester transition for students to the semester in question and ends with the semester transition for students to the following semester (see also Which are the relevant Friedolin-related semester dates?).

The withdrawal deadlines are the dates by which students can withdraw from these courses, regardless of their registration status. These deadlines are set by the system administrators on the date of the 1st automatic allocation of places for each course.

If a departmental administrator creates a course after this date, there are no withdrawal deadlines set. If you want to withdraw from such a course, please ask the system administrators to add the withdrawal deadlines by submitting a request with the course number. Only when a withdrawal deadline has been set, it is possible for students to withdraw from a course within the specified period of time.
