If you don't only have the student role but also other roles (e.g. teacher or employee), you need to change to a random role after you have logged in and then change back to the student role. This workaround is necessary because of an internal problem with roles which the software manufacturer hasn't been able to solve to our satisfaction by now.
After switching between roles, all printing functions should be available to you. Thank you for your understanding.
